Yarn Dyed Handwoven Linen Zari Stripe - Peach and Pink
This product is currently sold out.
As with any handwoven item, imperfections are to be expected and should be regarded as part of the charm of this piece.
Zari is an even thread traditionally made of fine gold or silver used in traditional Indian, Pakistani and Persian garments, especially as brocade in saris etc. This thread is woven into fabrics to create intricate patterns.
This lovely, lightweight and slightly sheer linen blend is the perfect weight for flowy and ethereal tops, dresses, skirts, light summer jackets and trousers but would be just as lovely for use in home decor. The stripes on this fabric run parallel to the selvedge and is woven with zari metallic accents.
