The Elastic waist skirt mini is a playful skirt with plenty of width, knee length, an elasticated waistband and large patch pockets. 

This pattern is designed as the new Elastic waist maxi skirt but for your little ones.
Includes sewing pattern for 3-4 years,  5-6 years,  7-8 years and 9-10 years.

Suggested fabrics: Light to mid-weight fabrics. The sample is in denim.

Fabric requirements: 110-120 cm and 140-150 cm wide fabric: 3-4 years 0.9 m // 5-6 years 1.0 m // 7-8 years 1.2 m // 9-10 years 1.3 m.

Sizing: 3 – 10 years. 

Notions: Thread, fusible interfacing, 5 cm (2") wide elastic, 60-65 cm (24-26")(measure the waist and add 3 cm (1") – includes seam allowance to overlap). Option: If you cannot find waist elastic that is exactly 5 cm wide, you can use any width you prefer. But be sure to change the width of the fabric waistband using this formula: width of elastic x 2 + 2.5 cm.
