Make your own shoes!! 

These are really fun and pretty simple to make and just might lead you into a whole new way of thinking about footwear. They’re totally customizable and a fine project for any shoe size or width.

Several of us here at Bolt have made our own quilted fabric slides, and they are universally agreed to be the most comfortable, perfect shoes. Now you can make your own!

Kits Include:

• Heavy leather outsoles
• Thick leather footbeds (the visible leather that your foot will rest on)
• Stacked leather heels
• Heel nails
• Eco-Weld shoe glue
• Brush
• Locking utility knife
• Leather hole punch
• Awl

The kits also contain hard copies of the upper and sole patterns, the link to the 19min video showing how to make the fabric uppers, and simple step-by-step instructions on how to assemble and fit your sandals.

You will also need:

• 1sq foot fabric for the exterior (the part you’ll see)
• 1sq foot soft fabric for inner lining
• 3sq feet puffy wool or cotton batting for lining
• 4 feet piped cord or binding/edge/trim (optional)

Select whether you would like dark brown or natural tan footbed leather.
