The Pincushions is an embroidery sampler, that when completed, you can sew into two pincushions to keep your needles organized. For years, Rebecca Ringquist has been suggesting that embroiderers pre-thread their needles. With a pincushion full of needles that are ready to go, you can start stitching at the drop of a hat. Now she's designed a pincushion to show off all your needles and help keep you inspired. This sampler includes two panels for you to embroider by hand. She used back stitch and french knots, but you can choose your own stitches to suit your own taste. For best results, she recommends using 3 strands of embroidery floss or size 8 perle cotton in your needles. Choose your favorite colors. This sampler makes a great gift to share with a friend. Will you stitch them together? Stitch one up and fill it with threaded needles for a friend that could really use a pick me up? Stitch them both up and keep them at the ready on your own end table? 

The sampler arrives preprinted on cotton quilting fabric, ready to stitch and includes basic instructions. You provide your own threads, needles, and hoop. Complete directions for sewing your embroidered pincushions together are included.

PLEASE NOTE: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like.
