Dropcloth Samplers are a collection of embroidery samplers designed by Rebecca Ringquist in her Portland, Oregon studio and inspired by her love of screen-printed accidents!

Rebecca wanted to design another jam packed embroidery project full of celestial inspired designs. Stars wind their way through a dense field of running stitches and potential rainbows. She used primarily back stitch, running stitch, and french knots. You can use your own favorite stitches to make this fun project your own. Rebecca recommends using a combination of size 8 perle cotton and embroidery floss. Our example is stitched in a green to purple palette—what colors will you chose for yours?

The sampler arrives preprinted on cotton quilting fabric, ready to stitch and includes basic instructions. You provide your own threads, needles, and hoop. 

PLEASE NOTE: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like.
