Marcia Derse is always on the hunt for paper, especially old paper with handwriting and over the years that she overlaid paintings and sketches onto the pages of a notebook not knowing where it would lead. With the opportunity to create her second batik collection she revisited the notebook, pulling inspiration from the pages. The aged papers in the book were so beautiful and became an important element in the overall design. This collection became a spot to sneak in her favorites!
