The Scout is a woven t-shirt with cap sleeves and scoop neck. It's fitted at the shoulders and falls into a more relaxed shape below the bust. Perfect on its own for spring and summer and a great layering piece under blazers and cardigans the rest of the year.
Techniques involved include straight seams, sewing darts (for size 14-30), applying a bias facing, setting sleeves and basic hemming.

Suggested Fabrics: Light to medium light weight fabrics such as cotton, silk, lawn, voile, charmeuse, crepe de chine or wool crepe. Extra fabric needed to match plaids, stripes or one-way design fabrics.
Sizes: This pattern comes in two size ranges, 0-18 and 14-30. The 14-30 pattern includes a bust dart and is drafted for a D-cup.
