Silk organza is an extremely sheer and lightweight open-weave silk, with a somewhat stiff texture. It is a classic in bridal sewing and would be perfect for heavily gathered skirts, veils, or anywhere else you need a very sheer fabric. It also makes an excellent sew-in interfacing/stabilizer for lightweight or delicate projects.
