Fine quality pochampally ikat cotton fabric from Telangana. Ikat (Ikkat) is a dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs a resist dyeing process similar to tie-dye on either the warp or weft fibers prior to dyeing. 

Soft and sturdy, these light to medium weight cotton fabrics are great for apparel or light home dec applications.

Dyes used in this piece may be unstable, consider taking dye setting measures. Gentle hand washing separately in cold water recommended. Avoid soaking. Expect some bleeding of excess dye during first wash.
