Hand block printed batik, pure Mul fabric, crafted by Shakil Ahmed Khatri from Kutch. Created using the traditional wax-resist dyeing techniques believed to be over 2,000 years old.

As with any hand made item, imperfections are to be expected and should be regarded as part of the charm of this piece.

Natural dyes may be unstable, consider taking dye setting measures. Gentle hand washing separately in cold water recommended. Avoid soaking. Expect some bleeding of excess dye during first wash. A handful of table salt in the first couple of washes may help set dyes.
