Fine quality Kalamkari block printed cotton washed fabric. Made with natural dyes using the traditional process of hand block printing, practiced by the artisans of Andhra. Kalamkari is the earliest and more complex of block-printing techniques.

100% cotton / 44/45" wide / Made in India

As with any hand made item, imperfections are to be expected and should be regarded as part of the charm of this piece.

Natural dyes may be unstable, consider taking dye setting measures. Gentle hand washing separately in cold water recommended. Avoid soaking. Expect some bleeding of excess dye during first wash.
