Shuttle tatting is a hand lace technique of tying double stitch knots onto a foundation thread that is shaped into rings and chains to form a lacy material. Tatting can be used to make lace edging as well as doilies, collars, ornaments, and accessories like earrings and necklaces.

A tatting shuttle is imperative for lace making, but these shuttles are especially helpful because they come with a tiny crochet hook on one side -- perfect for picking out knots and connecting loops together!
