The Washout Sashiko collection features printed designs to follow with the Japanese tradition of sashiko stitching. This cotton is slightly thicker than quilting weight fabric but would be great for quilts and accessories. It can also be used for garments, such as dresses, skirts, and children’s clothes. After you finish your embroidery, either in certain spots or all over, the printed design will wash out, leaving the emphasis on the embroidery.
